Mendukilo Cave

The Mendukilo Cave, located in the lands of the Council of Astitz, Larraun Valley, a few minutes from Lekunberri, reveals the depths of the Sierra de Aralar. Used for centuries by shepherds as a mountain stable, in recent years it has been explored by speleologists in a constant adventure. Since 2005 it has been reinvented and, after the refurbishment work carried out, has opened its doors for the general public to enjoy.
